ABOUT DR. ALI
Dr. Ali Albakri is an assistant Professor in Sports Psychology at Qatar University and a lecturer in Sports Science, Olympic Movement and Sports Psychology. Dr. Ali graduated from the University of Qatar with a degree in Physical Education and received a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas Tech in Arkansas, United States. Moreover Dr Ali also received a doctorate degree in sports science and mathematical psychology, from the University of Brunel, UK.
In 2007 Dr. Ali Albakri became a consultant for national teams in the National Teams Committee of the Qatar Olympic Committee. Later in 2008 Dr.Ali, became an executive Director of the International Olympic Committee in the State of Qatar for the Advanced Sports Management Diploma Program for Olympic Sports Institutions. Which lead Dr. Ali to be nominated by the Qatar Olympic Committee as one of the top 20 executive directors of the Advanced Olympic Sports Management Program around the world accredited by the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Moreover, Dr Ali also translated several books and scientific journals related to the sports field and the Olympic Movement. These books and journals have been licensed by the International Olympic Committee.
